YIL 2022 Project Teams
Have you previously participated in a YIL activity and would like to work more closely with the YIL team to organize and deliver future events?
Do you have a demonstrated commitment and/or leadership to advancing sustainability for our landscapes and communities? (rights, climate change, land management, agriculture, oceans, food, forests and more!)
YIL is starting the year with some great news! We are opening 4 project teams!
Communications & Outreach: This is your project team if you don’t miss the opportunity to share posts on social media and if you enjoy creating engaging material! This team will support the youth communications consultant to create content for YIL social media, as well as make sure to share all activities with their network!
Africa Regional Programs Development Team: Join this team to support the GLF Youth team to design, plan and deliver youth programs for Africa.
Asia & the Pacific Regional Programs Development Team: This is your team if you want to support the GLF Youth team to design, plan and deliver youth programs for Asia & the Pacific.
Latin America & the Caribbean Regional Programs Development Team: This team is looking for you, if you wish to support the GLF Youth team to design, plan and deliver youth programs for Latin America & the Caribbean.

Please notice that project team members will get a free entrance to the event they help shape, as well as a volunteering certificate. Please also notice that participation to all GLF events is only digital and does not include traveling.

GLF and YIL would like to particularly encourage women, Indigenous youth, LGBTQ+ youth, disabled youth and other underrepresented groups to apply for the project teams.
Disclaimer: This is a volunteer, home-based (no traveling involved) position, for YIL Alumni and/ or members of one of the organizations that make up the YIL Steering Committee (IFSA, YPARD, GAEA, Youth4Nature that have the possibility to volunteer 1-3 hours per week (time might vary depending on period).
